As we navigate these difficult times and work to stay together without being together, let’s remember that our church is still active. That means that the staff is still working and the rent still needs to be paid.
We won’t see each other in the pews on Sunday and the ushers won’t be passing the collection plate to you. Please don’t let that stop you from giving your donation.
Please keep St. Edwards in your prayers as we journey through this crisis. Our staff and ministries continue doing the work that God is asking us to do. You can send your pledges through the mail, through automatic bank draft, or online through your phone by downloading the Givelify App through the App Store.
To give through the mail, please send checks to our P.O. box at:

The Those Who Serve spreadsheet is being revamped to make it easier to mail out in weekly reminders and to edit. Look for the new format this week!
New Summer Service Schedule
We will have new service hours this Summer. The website will be updated with the new information.
Email Lists
We’re looking at improving and consolidating email lists to make sure everyone gets the right information in a timely manner.
Upcoming Project

Communications Ministry 2018 Annual Report
Communications Ministry Overview
The Communications Ministry serves to facilitate communications both within our congregation as
well as to the general public. Our team focuses on digital communications and also assists with
conventional communication methods.
Ministry members
Our ministry members include: Ted Ruchalski (Chair), John Talipsky Sr. (Vice Chair), Frances Hart,
Donna Talipsky, Carla Strott, Navar Steed, Erica Harris, and Jeannette Best-Nunez (vestry liason).
Starla Franks serves as youth consultant.
2018 Accomplishments
Our focus for 2018 has been a complete overhaul of our StEdwardsOnline.org website. We moved to
our own hosting solution which enabled us to implement a modern, interactive site. This includes
utilizing a WordPress theme allowing each ministry to post directly to the site. Our goal is for the
website to be everyone’s first stop for any information related to St. Edwards’s.
2019 Goals
For 2019 we would like to drive more participation from every ministry. We would like the website to
become self sustaining, allowing the communications ministry to focus on other areas including social
media and advertising to help promote our events and grow our church.
If you are interested in contributing your time and talent to our ministry, contact Ted Ruchalski at 678-
694-7687 or at StEdTed@ruchala.com.
Information Technology at St Edwards 2018
This is a review of technology infrastructure updates at St Edward’s during 2018.
We continued to update our Internet access capabilities, and extended more reliable wireless access to
all church areas, particularly to the Nave. We installed a new wireless access point above the Nave and
entrance area. This provides very high-speed access to the Internet in the entire Nave and front
entrance area. An additional common access point was added in the Parish Hall, so that we now have a
single access ID with the StEds-GUEST signon throughout all areas.
We are now providing excellent internet access throughout the entire church campus
Continuing Thanks to Ted Ruchalski for helping to keep our infrastructure up and running, and also
providing Website support.
John Talipsky, SR.
