Next Saturday the EYC will be headed to six flags for a big day of roller coasters and lemonade. We need RSVPs from everyone (students, friends and chaperones) wanting to attend in order to see if we can get a group discount. If you do not RSVP by June 14th you will not be included in group pricing. We are also in need of chaperones parents or otherwise. We can not go to Six Flags without a certain amount of adults.
The youth have been asked to participate in a unique church service in downtown Atlanta. This church service serves a community that comes from all walks of life and many different circumstances. Some folks have suffered great losses. Some are working through aspects of recovery. Some are homeless and some are not. We have been asked to make and bring 65 sandwiches to distribute to the participating congregations. We can only bring 15 people so I am looking for two chaperones to drive and around 10 youth to participate. We need to be at Woodruff park by 12:30 so it would be best to leave church by 11:20.
